Monday, August 25, 2025  Subject: Almost 10 weeks on mission, 4 in the field 馃摉 This email will probably be pretty short this week cuz I don't really feel like writing a ton haha. It was another solid week I feel like my Spanish took a leap the last few days. Friday I had to go to Santa Ana and then San Salvador for migration stuff and I got to see my boy Elder Carman!! He was my comp in the mtc and it felt like seeing family again it was super sick. The drive back to Juayua after the migration was like an hour and a half long and I talked with our driver the whole time in Spanish. That made me feel super good that I was able to hold a conversation that long and understand it pretty good. We talked about everything from the mission to the NBA to music to the economy it was super sick and the driver was so chill. We went teaching with quite a few members this week including our friends Carlos, Chafa, and Stanley. We had a baptismal date for this last Sunday with Carlos Jr (a complet...

Monday August 18, 2025 Subject:  Tio Vaca Baptism!! C贸mo estamos everybody..... Another great week a lot of stuff happened its hard to remember haha. Got my first baptism this past sunday (besides my lil bro JJ of course haha), it was a super cool experience. It was our friend Jonathan Amaya (everyone calls him Tio Vaca and I have no idea why haha). He's 18 and he's basically been an eternal investigator up until this point, he's had a ton of friends in the church for the past 10+ years but he finally decided to get baptized it was so cool to see the entire ward show up for his baptism and I'm so happy for my man. I also had to give a talk on sunday it actually went great and was a big confidence boost for my spanish. We had intercambios (exchanges) 2 times this past week, on tuesday I went with Elder Reyes to Las Colinas and then thursday with Elder Buehner to Las Orquidias. It was cool to work in other areas for a day and learn from other elders, but it was a little a...

Go watch some Puka Nacua highlights for me...

Monday August 12, 2025  Subject:  Go watch some puka nacua highlights for me Buenas everybody, A lot of the same stuff this week. My spanish is improving poco a poco each day, little by little, paso a paso, step by step. Tuesday we had a zone conference in Ahuachapan that was super inspiring about the importance of baptism and about how people can't have full access to the power of Christs atonement without baptism.  So after this conference we were inspired and so this past week I gave my first baptismal invitation in spanish to our friend Jennifer. I gave the invitation and she started smiling and she nodded her head a little bit, so I totally thought she was going to say yes for about a split second, and then she went into to her, "Estoy agradecido por su invitacion pero..." (I'm grateful for your invitation but...)  So I'm 0/1 on baptismal invitations now, but for that split second that I thought she was going to say yes, it felt like I was on top of the wo...

August 4, 2025 Subject: Working in the Field in Juayua   ¡Va pue!!! How's everyone doing? Also va pue is a big thing in El Salvador I've heard it like a thousand times in the past week it's just a thing that everyone says. I flew in to the San Salvador airport from the Mexico city airport this past wednesday, drove for like 2 hours to the mission home in Santa Ana, had dinner with our mission president and his family and then the next morning I met my companion and we drove for like another hour and a half to my area in Juayua. My comp is Elder Delgado and he's super cool and a great missionary. He's from Per煤 and only speaks spanish so I've basically only been speaking spanish for like the past 5 days haha. We've taught a ton of people in the past week and I've been able to share my testimony a lot, share little spiritual thoughts, and give the prayers. Every day at about 5 we go up into the mountains to teach for a few hours. It's super far away so...
