 Subject: Almost 10 weeks on mission, 4 in the field 馃摉

This email will probably be pretty short this week cuz I don't really feel like writing a ton haha. It was another solid week I feel like my Spanish took a leap the last few days. Friday I had to go to Santa Ana and then San Salvador for migration stuff and I got to see my boy Elder Carman!! He was my comp in the mtc and it felt like seeing family again it was super sick. The drive back to Juayua after the migration was like an hour and a half long and I talked with our driver the whole time in Spanish. That made me feel super good that I was able to hold a conversation that long and understand it pretty good. We talked about everything from the mission to the NBA to music to the economy it was super sick and the driver was so chill.

We went teaching with quite a few members this week including our friends Carlos, Chafa, and Stanley. We had a baptismal date for this last Sunday with Carlos Jr (a completely different Carlos we know like 7 of them), but our relationship with his dad isn't great so the date got pushed back.

I'm learning a lot everyday and I feel like I see my Spanish and teaching skills progressing well. Hope everyone's doing good, if you email me I'll respond I promise

I'm not sure how good of an email writer I am, but I'll try my best to send weekly ones because my mom wants me to.  I'm 5 days into the Mexico mtc and it's crazy how much can happen in less than a week when you just forget about everything else and put all your effort into one thing. The food's been hit or miss, but everything else has been on point. I have some sweet roommates and the number of times we've just been dying laughing is crazy for only knowing each other a week. Our district is the chillest and I have a sick companion Elder Carman. Singing the hymns in Spanish has been so cool and this language is so fun to learn. During home mtc, it got to a point I was so bored of the zoom calls and sitting in the same room 8 hours a day that I was watching anything in my free time that wouldn't get me in trouble. A Lot of Rain ☂️

Monday, September 1, 2025 Subject: A Lot of Rain ☂️  Wassup everybody, It was a solid week, went by super fast but also super slow haha. We had a ton of rain this week, and when it rains in El Salvador it RAINS. The streets straight up turn into rivers and everyone goes into their houses because it's pretty dangerous. I think it was like Wednesday or Thursday, but we were way up in the mountains around San Juan, it was like 6:30 and already getting dark, and the rain was coming down super hard. We were waiting on the side of the road until a pickup came, and we got into the back of it and started driving down the mountain and going into the rain at like 40 mph.  It was like a 15 minute ride of just getting absolutely pelted by the rain, it was so bad haha. I had a little umbrella that I was holding like a shield in the back of the pickup but it didn't help at all, it was getting bent in from the wind and rain and we got completely soaked. Week 2 in Mexico, 3 Weeks Overall

Tuesday July 8, 2025 6:04 p m Subject:  Week 2 in Mexico, 3 Weeks Overall ¿Qu茅 onda?? Yesterday was  my 3 week mark for being on the mission, and I've been in the mexico ccm for almost 2 weeks. Time's flying and the days are starting to blend together so I think I need to start writing the cool stuff down so I have stuff to put in my emails haha. We were hooping for like 4 hours today so that was sweet to play some ball again. We play basically every sport ever here, a lot of pickleball, volleyball, handball, basketball of course. One of the dudes in my district is a D1 quarterback so we've been throwing around the football and it's crazy how effortlessly he throws like 60 yard bombs and zips it right to my hands (he got his ball taken away today tho so we won't be playing anymore of that haha). Besides the sports, it's been pretty repetitive, 3 hour language class in the morning, 3 hour preach my gospel class with some Spanish in the afternoon, some devotionals...
