Monday June 29, 2026 First week with no email! Elder Trujillo has been busy as a zone leader! We got to talk to him on the phone but unfortunately he didn't have time to send an email. This week President Choy and his family finished their time presiding over the El Salvador Santa Ana mission and President and Sister Mickelsen were welcomed to the mission 🇸🇻🤗🎉🫶! Flashback to the when we got to meet President and Sister Choy on January 31, 2026 Facebook post from the Mickelsens (Tami Parker Mickelsen) on June 28, 2026... We made it! On Wednesday, we arrived in El Salvador and began this incredible new chapter. It was a joy to thank President and Sister Choy in person for their love, service, and careful preparation. Helloooo wassupp everybody Hows everyones summer going?? Its insane to think its summer, I cant tell the seasons at all over here, it feels like its all the same haha The week before this one was pretty terrible and honestly pretty disappointing as far as visible results go, we didnt have any friends at church on sunday, something I havent had in a very very long time, and after church we said thats enough, we're never gonna let that happen again. I'm honestly grateful we didnt have any friends at church that sunday cuz it gave us the wakeup call we needed and lit a fire in us. So we went out sunday afternoon hungry and just with pura fe and talking with everyone and every day of the week we would find one positive person and then another and another. We didnt make any crazy changes, we just upped the faith. I read a verse I like a lot in Romans 10:17 that says,  "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" For me this verse is crazy true... when ...

Monday June 15, 2026 Subject: 15 de junio, 2026 Buenasss tardes everybodyyy Tomorrow... I hit a year on the mission, crazy to think about honestly, I feel like I've been a missionary for my whole life haha Yesterday we made some burgers in the house for the first time and we slapped a grilled pineapple on top... the burger itself was actually pretty bad but the pineapple and the sauces saved it a little (foto in the link below for those who wish to see ⬇️) We just did 5 exchanges in 8 days, which has been pretty exhausting but its also felt great to be able to help other missionaries in their areas, we did one with the elders in Nopal and I was with Elder Barben, then one with the elders in Trebol in the AP's area and I went with Elder Rodriguez, then one with Tacuba and I went with Elder Myers, another one with Apaneca and I went with Elder Castillo, and then one with Ausoles 2.2 and I was with Elder Simonson... so a ton of exchanges but its been good still haha 😂 We worked s...

Monday June 8, 2026 Subject: BAUTISMO DE ISRAEL 🥳😁  (Super fast email to keep the streak) Hello everybody whats uppp Never have missed a week of writing so im just gotta do this to keep the streak Got no time but heres a few highlights 😁: -we had zone conference this week it was really good -had exchanges with the APs, learned a ton (find a family of 4 in their area that are definitely getting baptized) -our friend Israel got baptized 🥹, it's been really awesome to see how much he's changed in this short period of time, that dude's gonna do great things Man dont remember much else haha, but love you all and want to hear from you Saludddd -Elder Trujillo

Monday June 1, 2026 Subject: The Lord Will Magnify Buenosss diasss fam and friends... First off wanna say thanks to all the people that sent stuff for my birthday, I appreciate it a ton 🥲 I'm pretty sure the packages got sent like 2 months ago but they finally arrived haha so just wanted to say thanks to everybody 😂 This week was a very interesting one, we started it off doing zone council and it went pretty good. Then the next day we had a meeting called MLC and we went to the mission offices to go over some accomplishments of the mission and talk about our goals for the upcoming transfer and some other stuff. Then we had exchanges with the elders from Ataco, I went with Elder Segura and we had a really good time. We also had a few calls and meetings in person with the leaders of the stake, so it was just a very meeting-filled week, it was a little boring haha but also cool to see all the planning and coordination that goes on behind the scenes.
