Subject: The Lord Will Magnify

Buenosss diasss fam and friends...

First off wanna say thanks to all the people that sent stuff for my birthday, I appreciate it a ton ๐Ÿฅฒ I'm pretty sure the packages got sent like 2 months ago but they finally arrived haha so just wanted to say thanks to everybody ๐Ÿ˜‚

This week was a very interesting one, we started it off doing zone council and it went pretty good. Then the next day we had a meeting called MLC and we went to the mission offices to go over some accomplishments of the mission and talk about our goals for the upcoming transfer and some other stuff. Then we had exchanges with the elders from Ataco, I went with Elder Segura and we had a really good time. We also had a few calls and meetings in person with the leaders of the stake, so it was just a very meeting-filled week, it was a little boring haha but also cool to see all the planning and coordination that goes on behind the scenes.

This week was a little up and down, its been a very big change and I'm still trying to get adjusted to it. It feels like right when I'm starting to get just a little comfortable with where I am they got to change everything up again. There were multiple points this week that I felt very inadequate, especifically with the new responsibilities I have, and it can be a little discouraging when you feel like you were in your groove and everything was going great and then theres changes and you almost feel like you've been downgraded just cuz you're not used to your new situation. My dad sent me a quote from President Eyring that I liked a lot, if theres anyone that might be struggling to live up to expectations I hope this can help you:

"There will be times when you will feel overwhelmed. One of the ways you will be attacked is with the feeling that you are inadequate. Well, you are inadequate to answer a call to represent God with only your own powers. But you have access to more than your natural capacities, and you do not work alone.

The Lord will magnify what you say and what you do in the eyes of the people you serve. He will send the Holy Ghost to manifest to them that what you spoke was true. What you say and do will carry hope and give direction to people far beyond your natural abilities and your own understanding. That miracle has been a mark of the Lord’s Church in every dispensation. It is so much a part of your call that you may begin to take it for granted."

I'm realizing that I need to focus less on myself, my own faults, and my own shortcomings, and focus more on the Lord and His power and His plan. It's still hard to have that perspective at all times, but when I remember what the Lord can do and what he's done for me, it helps me to get out of my head and have faith for the future.

We saw a few miracles in the past few days, yesterday we found a dude thats absolutely an escogido, says he's been looking for a sense of belonging and trying to get closer to God, and he's also ALREADY MARRIED! Nobodys married in this country haha so that was a super awesome find. And then with our friend Israel he was finally able to get consent from his mom to get baptized so he should be having his baptism pretty soon

Trust in the Lord, hope everyones doing great and let me know how youve been
