Subject: The pupusas never get old
Cómo han estado todos??
Another great week in Juayua, El Salvador. Yesterday we had the baptisms of Dayana and Alejandra, the 2 daughters from la Familia Beltran. It was super awesome to finally see them get baptized because we've been working so hard with them for about 2 months and there have been so many times that Satan almost stopped them from getting baptized, but yesterday we finally saw them enter the waters. Now the goal is to get all of them in the temple and help them have an eternal family, but its definitely going to be a challenge and take a lot of effort.
Also, we set a baptismal date this past week with our friend Jaime. He's the guy that showed up to the church last sunday and we'd never seen him before, and then this sunday he came to church again, and if all goes well he's getting baptized this next sunday October 5th. He knows a little english so hes been practicing with me a little bit and this guys so funny haha. Hes about 75 years old and kinda crazy but also super faithful so its all good haha.
We also had our friends Josue and Matias come with us to church this week, its a father and his son, and we just started teaching them this past saturday and they're super faithful. We're planning on setting them on date for baptism this week, and they already have desires to join the church so we think they'll get baptized October 12th. The work is starting to gain some momentum in our area and its super cool to see, especially because our zone has been suffering a lot but we're still pushing through in our area. And the fact is that all of the success we've had the last few weeks have come completely because of the grace of God and not because of our own abilities, and really all we can do is give the people the best opportunity possible to hear the message and feel the Spirit.
We still dont have water here in the house and the truth is that it really sucks and is getting pretty annoying haha. In the past 3 weeks we've had like 5 days with running water, but I cant complain because the missionary work has been going good so I'll take the trade.
Hope everyones doing good, let me know how youre doing and I'll respond
