Subject: We don't have water but we have the Living Water ☀️

Qué lo que how is everybody?

Another week went by, with a lot of highs and lows as far as the missionary work. We havent had water in the house 4 of the past 5 days, and we can live without it, but more than anything its just annoying. At this point I just want them to give us an outhouse, cuz at least that would work all the time haha. You dont realize how many things you need running water for until you dont have it, but we can't do anything about it so it is what it is haha

A week ago we set a baptismal date with Dayana, and then this past week we set another date with her sister Alejandra, and if all goes well they'll both get baptized this upcoming Sunday. Their whole family came to church this past Sunday for the first time, and it was super awesome to see them all at church. We've been teaching for them like a month and they always say they'll come to church Sunday, but this time it finally happened haha.

We were supposed to have a baptism this past sunday with our friend Josué, but it fell through. Originally he said he had a fear of water for about a week and that was why he scared to get baptized, and I wanted to believe that was the only reason, but it felt like an excuse the whole time. But this week he just flat out told us he doesnt want to get baptized, and that was really hard to hear. This is the second time he's had a baptismal date and then basically the day of he drops out. We have to respect people's agency obviously, but its so hard when they know so much and just refuse to let God bless them.

We've been helping our friend Jonathan's family to build a road next to their house this past week. Jonathan was the first guy I was able to baptize and we have a great relationship with their family even though Jonathans the only member in the family. We've been teaching his mom the past few weeks, and she's a little tough to teach cuz shes super set in her beliefs, but shes willing to listen and I really hope her heart opens up eventually, and I think the service has helped a little bit. We went 2 days this past week to help them build the road they're working on, and that stuff is hard work haha. One of the days we were digging in some mounds of dirt, and I looked down and I was just covered with like a hundred ants. And those things bite bro. Jonathans mom saw it and just started beating me with a rag to get them off and I dont know if it was an act of love or hatred, but she saw the opportunity and took it haha.

Overall doing great, have been some disappointments as far as the work, but we're grinding and I'm learning more each day. Hope everyones great and email me I'll reply

You cant tell from the pic but the spiders are legit the size of your hand and they eat the birds, but supposedly they're "not dangerous"
