Subject: Trust the process 🌽

CΓ³mo han estado everybody...

Another good week overall, we're just getting back from our temple trip to San Salvador. It had been like 4 months since I'd been able to go to the temple, and it was a super awesome experience to go do endowments and go in the celestial room and refocus myself. It made me realize how much I took the temple for granted in Utah when we could go just whenever we felt like it.
Make time to go to the temple this week, I'm confident you won't regret it.

We helped a recent convert family, la familia Pacheco, with their harvest this week and these people are different goodness gracious. We started off by going into the fields and gathered up all their corn into giant sacks, and when we got the sacks as full as they could be we carried them back towards their house.
The sacks weigh around 100-125 lbs each, we had to carry them for 15 minutes up and down the hills and through cornfields, and we carried them on our backs bent over like hunchbacks. By the last few steps I felt like my head was going to explode, that my neck was going to snap, and that I would tip over from all the weight but I made it thankfully. But my comp wasnt so fortunate and died on the trail and ended up having to get help from an old lady haha...
And the crazy thing is that these people do this same thing all day everyday... and we were dead just after a couple hours of work and I've been sore for days 🀣

With the missionary work this week it once again had its successes and disappointments, and I've been really trying to learn to be satisfied with my efforts when I work as hard as I can but we don't get immediate results.
Some counsel I got this week that I really liked is that our job as missionaries is to be as obedient and work as diligently as we can, and God's job is to do the rest and work the miracles. That mindset has helped me to find more joy in the work because if I'm giving my best effort I can feel at peace that the Lord will bring about the fruits in his own timing and that my offering is pleasing to the Lord.

Hope everyones doing good, keep the faith and trust the process
