Subject: We're gonna marry people

Qué lo que

Another week in el barrio Progreso in Juayua, El Salvador.

We've gone 2 weeks straight with water in the house, truly a miracle... and I'm already taking water for granted again haha.

Holy man nobody is married in this country and everybody drinks coffee

Week 2 with the Elder Ortiz and he's getting used to the area and things are going pretty good with the missionary work. We set 2 baptismal dates and a wedding date this week with la Familia Cosme.
Graduated high school like 5 months ago and I'm already marrying people 👨‍⚖️ Its crazy all the responsibilities they give you on the mission haha

Still been going up to the mountains in San Juan De Dios like 5 times a week in pickup or bus or mototaxi. All our investigators literally live in the middle of nowhere in the jungle which takes up a ton of time just to find them and get to their houses, so we're considering on focusing our efforts just on the people who live in the city to avoid wasting time on travel.

I still think the mountains have a lot of potential but its really hard because every time we find a family to teach in the mountains, the pastors and the leaders of the other churches start flocking. A family will be progressing a bunch and then out of nowhere they'll lose all interest with us because a pastor passed by their house and started feeding them lies about us and the church.

Week went by super fast dont remember a ton but I hear all is well with BYU football and that the Jazz already won back to back championships so thats good to hear

Va pue everybody, let me know how youre doing
