Subject: 3 Areas in 3 weeks 🤣 🎄📖

Man this week was nuts. I had had a whole 3 weeks in my new area Texical, then Friday we had interviews with mission president and the very next day he called us early in the morning and told us we were getting transferred. And Sunday at noon I moved to my new area. My new comp Elder Villamar is from Ecuador and is still new to the mission and in his training, so I'm gonna be his trainer but just for the next 3 weeks haha. We've only worked together for one day so far but he's a hard worker and willing to learn so I'm super excited to see what we can get done.

I've now had 4 latino companions in a row haha, I went from a Peruvian to a Dominican to a Guatemalan and now to an Ecuadorian. It's definitely helped my Spanish a ton to only have latino comps and its been cool to live with people from all over. I've also now had 3 straight areas all in the same zone which is super crazy and like unheard of, but I'm gonna know this place really good when I finally end up leaving the zone haha.

Christmas was cool, everyone in El Salvador actually celebrates it a day early so the 24th was the big day for us here. We had 3 dinners on Christmas eve and I could barely walk after the last one, they stuffed us with so much chicken and rice and chicken haha. At one of the houses they had Shrek on in the background, and at the other they had Home Alone 2, but they were obviously in Spanish so that made them even funnier haha

A bunch of other random stuff happened this week, Tuesday we visited the elderly and did a service project there that was really cool. My last comp Elder Cortez is finishing his mission up this upcoming Sunday and gonna work his last week closer to the mission offices in Santa Ana, so we said our goodbyes yesterday. We only had 3 weeks together as comps but hes a great guy and I was able to learn a lot from my Guatemalan brother

A ton of changes this week but I'm still super motivated to get things going in my new area, hope you guys are doing awesome and nos vemos

Tuesday July 1, 2025  11:33am Subject: Locked In ¿Qué pasa con todos??? I'm not sure how good of an email writer I am, but I'll try my best to send weekly ones because my mom wants me to.  I'm 5 days into the Mexico mtc and it's crazy how much can happen in less than a week when you just forget about everything else and put all your effort into one thing. The food's been hit or miss, but everything else has been on point. I have some sweet roommates and the number of times we've just been dying laughing is crazy for only knowing each other a week. Our district is the chillest and I have a sick companion Elder Carman. Singing the hymns in Spanish has been so cool and this language is so fun to learn. During home mtc, it got to a point I was so bored of the zoom calls and sitting in the same room 8 hours a day that I was watching anything in my free time that wouldn't get me in trouble. Monday, September 1, 2025 Subject: A Lot of Rain ☂️  Wassup everybody, It was a solid week, went by super fast but also super slow haha. We had a ton of rain this week, and when it rains in El Salvador it RAINS. The streets straight up turn into rivers and everyone goes into their houses because it's pretty dangerous. I think it was like Wednesday or Thursday, but we were way up in the mountains around San Juan, it was like 6:30 and already getting dark, and the rain was coming down super hard. We were waiting on the side of the road until a pickup came, and we got into the back of it and started driving down the mountain and going into the rain at like 40 mph.  It was like a 15 minute ride of just getting absolutely pelted by the rain, it was so bad haha. I had a little umbrella that I was holding like a shield in the back of the pickup but it didn't help at all, it was getting bent in from the wind and rain and we got completely soaked. Week 2 in Mexico, 3 Weeks Overall

Tuesday July 8, 2025 6:04 p m Subject:  Week 2 in Mexico, 3 Weeks Overall ¿Qué onda?? Yesterday was  my 3 week mark for being on the mission, and I've been in the mexico ccm for almost 2 weeks. Time's flying and the days are starting to blend together so I think I need to start writing the cool stuff down so I have stuff to put in my emails haha. We were hooping for like 4 hours today so that was sweet to play some ball again. We play basically every sport ever here, a lot of pickleball, volleyball, handball, basketball of course. One of the dudes in my district is a D1 quarterback so we've been throwing around the football and it's crazy how effortlessly he throws like 60 yard bombs and zips it right to my hands (he got his ball taken away today tho so we won't be playing anymore of that haha). Besides the sports, it's been pretty repetitive, 3 hour language class in the morning, 3 hour preach my gospel class with some Spanish in the afternoon, some devotionals...
