Subject: Hooping in Nahui 🏀

Ey everybody hope youre all doing great, another week here in the pueblo of Nahuizalco. Had a great Sunday, our friend Dennis came for his second time in a row, and this time his sister Daniela came too which was super lit. We've been trying to get her to come for almost a month now and she finally pulled up and she liked it a ton. The plan is to extend both of them baptism dates this week, they now both have a ton of friends at church and are excited to come again this next sunday. If all goes well we're gonna set a date with our friend Lisandro as well this wednesday. It was a pretty normal week but the work is moving which is definitely a blessing

We hooped again this friday and Dennis and Lisandro pulled up again with a bunch of other youth from the church, its sweet to see all the connections theyre making with the members. Theyre all really really bad haha but its chill its still a fun time

I've also been noticing this week theres been a bunch of soldiers here recently, like I think it was thursday night we were coming back from some lessons in the middle of nowhere at like 8 oclock at night and it was pitch black already, and we passed by like 4 soldiers completely suited up with their guns and flashlights and everything searching around a bridge in the forest, there was definitely someone on the run or something bro 😂

Humility: I've been trying to work as hard as I can to be as humble as I can, but its a hard job bro, you dont get a lot of recognition for being humble man haha, but thats the whole point of humility right haha. To do good and not do it for the praise or recognition of others. Jesus is the perfect example of humility so I've been studying his earthly ministry more in the New Testament to work on improving this attribute little by little, and I still definitely got plenty to work on haha

I'm not sure how good of an email writer I am, but I'll try my best to send weekly ones because my mom wants me to.  I'm 5 days into the Mexico mtc and it's crazy how much can happen in less than a week when you just forget about everything else and put all your effort into one thing. The food's been hit or miss, but everything else has been on point. I have some sweet roommates and the number of times we've just been dying laughing is crazy for only knowing each other a week. Our district is the chillest and I have a sick companion Elder Carman. Singing the hymns in Spanish has been so cool and this language is so fun to learn. During home mtc, it got to a point I was so bored of the zoom calls and sitting in the same room 8 hours a day that I was watching anything in my free time that wouldn't get me in trouble. Monday, September 1, 2025 Subject: A Lot of Rain ☂️  Wassup everybody, It was a solid week, went by super fast but also super slow haha. We had a ton of rain this week, and when it rains in El Salvador it RAINS. The streets straight up turn into rivers and everyone goes into their houses because it's pretty dangerous. I think it was like Wednesday or Thursday, but we were way up in the mountains around San Juan, it was like 6:30 and already getting dark, and the rain was coming down super hard. We were waiting on the side of the road until a pickup came, and we got into the back of it and started driving down the mountain and going into the rain at like 40 mph.  It was like a 15 minute ride of just getting absolutely pelted by the rain, it was so bad haha. I had a little umbrella that I was holding like a shield in the back of the pickup but it didn't help at all, it was getting bent in from the wind and rain and we got completely soaked. Week 2 in Mexico, 3 Weeks Overall

Tuesday July 8, 2025 6:04 p m Subject:  Week 2 in Mexico, 3 Weeks Overall ¿Qué onda?? Yesterday was  my 3 week mark for being on the mission, and I've been in the mexico ccm for almost 2 weeks. Time's flying and the days are starting to blend together so I think I need to start writing the cool stuff down so I have stuff to put in my emails haha. We were hooping for like 4 hours today so that was sweet to play some ball again. We play basically every sport ever here, a lot of pickleball, volleyball, handball, basketball of course. One of the dudes in my district is a D1 quarterback so we've been throwing around the football and it's crazy how effortlessly he throws like 60 yard bombs and zips it right to my hands (he got his ball taken away today tho so we won't be playing anymore of that haha). Besides the sports, it's been pretty repetitive, 3 hour language class in the morning, 3 hour preach my gospel class with some Spanish in the afternoon, some devotionals...
