First week in my new area Nahuizalco 2 with my new comp Elder Villamar and it went super great. This areas struggled a lot for the past 6 months, but this week went really good and we set ourselves up for a pretty good month. Its been awesome working with Elder Villamar this week, we've been working as hard as we can everyday and we're just beat when we get back to the house every night. I've just got a little over 6 months on the mission and my comps still in his training so we're both super hungry and willing to work.
Monday right after p-day we found someone new right off the bat, a kid named Dennis who's about 15 years old. A few days later we started teaching his sister and then on saturday his mom. They seem super positive and have been reading the Book of Mormon and understand the lessons really good. We also set a baptismal date with our friend Andy and he came with us to church yesterday, and will get baptized the 11th of January. Sunday we woke up at 5 in the morning to get to Andys house to help him come to church cuz he lives super far away, and we were planning to get there in the back of a pickup but it only took us halfway and then dropped us off so we had to walk the rest of it. We ended up making it to church in time and all of our efforts, and prayers and fasting were answered. It was a great Sunday and we had a couple other friends come with us to church too.
We live in a house of 4 missionaries and its been lit. I think we have the best combination of 4 elders ever possible haha, there's an elder from Guatemala, one from Ecuador, me, and a gringo from California. My comp and the gringo from California are both still in their training, so its fun having 2 greenies in the house. The 2 latinos dont know any english and the gringo is still brand new to spanish so it spices things up for sure 🤣. I hope I get to stay here for a while cuz its super nice living in a house of 4, cuz we're always laughing and it keeps things interesting but we also push each other to work harder and stay in check.
New years was great, we got 4 dinners, I was dead by the last one. More than half our district is sick with parasites but at least I didnt get it haha. Things are going good with the missionary work, hope everyones doing awesome.

D&C 123:17:
"Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed."
Alma 5:26:
"And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?"
