Qué lo que fam and friends??


Another solid week in the mission, the works going pretty good, felt the Spirit a lot this week. Getting our friends Dennis and Daniela ready for their baptisms on the 22nd of this month, I feel like this week is gonna be super key so that they feel super prepared by that date.  And then yesterday we talked with our friend Lisandro and he told us he wants to get baptized 3 weeks from now, March 1. So we're gonna be working really hard with them so that none of their baptismal dates fall through and so that they can reach their goals of getting baptized and making their first covenant with God.

Saturday we went to help build a house for a member, it was really cool to see but I dont think we were that useful cuz they mainly just needed carpenters and welders haha. So they just had us tear down a fence and carry around a bunch of random stuff for them, but it was still cool to be able to help out a little bit. Sunday we had a missionary activity and 2 of our friends in teaching, Dennis and Lisandro, went out with the members to visit which was super cool to see and made me super proud of my boys haha. And the crazy thing is that theyre not even members yet and theyre already out doing missionary work

I've been reading through the Book of Mormon again, I'm in the book of Alma and dang that book is so good man, every single chapter is so good its absolutely loaded. There were a ton of verses that stood out to me a lot this week but one that touched me a lot was Alma 29:10, it says:

"And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me."

I've learned that missionary work is just as much of a benefit for the person sharing it as it is for the person receiving it. "When I see many of my brethren truly peninent, and coming to the Lord, then is my soul filled with joy". As I have been sharing the gospel for this last little bit, my own testimony and conviction of the love of God has grown so much. 
If you want a stronger testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Tuesday July 1, 2025  11:33am Subject: Locked In ¿Qué pasa con todos??? I'm not sure how good of an email writer I am, but I'll try my best to send weekly ones because my mom wants me to.  I'm 5 days into the Mexico mtc and it's crazy how much can happen in less than a week when you just forget about everything else and put all your effort into one thing. The food's been hit or miss, but everything else has been on point. I have some sweet roommates and the number of times we've just been dying laughing is crazy for only knowing each other a week. Our district is the chillest and I have a sick companion Elder Carman. Singing the hymns in Spanish has been so cool and this language is so fun to learn. During home mtc, it got to a point I was so bored of the zoom calls and sitting in the same room 8 hours a day that I was watching anything in my free time that wouldn't get me in trouble. A Lot of Rain ☂️

Monday, September 1, 2025 Subject: A Lot of Rain ☂️  Wassup everybody, It was a solid week, went by super fast but also super slow haha. We had a ton of rain this week, and when it rains in El Salvador it RAINS. The streets straight up turn into rivers and everyone goes into their houses because it's pretty dangerous. I think it was like Wednesday or Thursday, but we were way up in the mountains around San Juan, it was like 6:30 and already getting dark, and the rain was coming down super hard. We were waiting on the side of the road until a pickup came, and we got into the back of it and started driving down the mountain and going into the rain at like 40 mph.  It was like a 15 minute ride of just getting absolutely pelted by the rain, it was so bad haha. I had a little umbrella that I was holding like a shield in the back of the pickup but it didn't help at all, it was getting bent in from the wind and rain and we got completely soaked. Week 2 in Mexico, 3 Weeks Overall

Tuesday July 8, 2025 6:04 p m Subject:  Week 2 in Mexico, 3 Weeks Overall ¿Qué onda?? Yesterday was  my 3 week mark for being on the mission, and I've been in the mexico ccm for almost 2 weeks. Time's flying and the days are starting to blend together so I think I need to start writing the cool stuff down so I have stuff to put in my emails haha. We were hooping for like 4 hours today so that was sweet to play some ball again. We play basically every sport ever here, a lot of pickleball, volleyball, handball, basketball of course. One of the dudes in my district is a D1 quarterback so we've been throwing around the football and it's crazy how effortlessly he throws like 60 yard bombs and zips it right to my hands (he got his ball taken away today tho so we won't be playing anymore of that haha). Besides the sports, it's been pretty repetitive, 3 hour language class in the morning, 3 hour preach my gospel class with some Spanish in the afternoon, some devotionals...
