Anotha week in El Salvador πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡»πŸ“–

Que tal como estan everybody!!

A super solid week with a lot of miracles. We started it off on Monday visiting the family of Karen and Mateo who we set baptismal dates with. We had a good lesson there and got the mom's signature and approval for Karen's baptism πŸŽ‰ with Mateo they decided he needs to wait a little longer but we were gonna keep working with him until he feels ready to go.
Then I think it was wednesday we found this young single mom named Marcela, she's really receptive and interested in what we have to share. In our first lesson with her on wednesday we talked about lesson 3 The Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we asked her if she would like to prepare to be baptized but without a specific date or anything and she said yes and then said she wanted to thank us for passing by and she gave us free snacks from her own shop haha.
Then on friday when we visited her for the 2nd time we talked a little bit more about the gift of the Holy Ghost and baptism and this time we invited her to prepare to be baptized but with the specific date for the 29th of this month and she said yes again without hesitation. We were kind of shocked so we asked her like 5 more times being even more direct with the invitation and she was still sure of her answer. So that was kind of crazy that she accepted a baptismal date for this same month with just like 2 days in teaching. And then after extending the invitation she gave us free drinks from her store again for the 2nd time in a row haha

Sunday was a super sweet day with a lot of miracles. Karen showed up to church for the first time coming straight from a night shift at work, and not only did she show up to church at 8 oclock in the morning, but she also brought her sister Maryorie with her who we had just started teaching less than 24 hours earlier. Then our friend Antonio Jose who came to church for the first time last sunday came with his son Eduardo as well for the first time this sunday. It was really cool to see a father and son combo like them show up, they both have genuine interest and are really humble and want to keep coming every sunday. We also had a few other friends show up to church and so we ended up with 6 friends at church with us this sunday which was a huge blessing and it was really cool to see all of them make their own personal sacrifices to be able to come to church with us for 2 hours of their weekend.

Let me know how youre all doing and whats going on at home... I'm guessing march madness is starting up right now, praying that BYU made it 🀞🀞 hope you guys all have a great week and talk again next week

Helaman 3:27-30
"27 Thus we may see that the Lord is merciful unto all who will, in the sincerity of their hearts, call upon his holy name.

28 Yea, thus we see that the gate of heaven is open unto all, even to those who will believe on the name of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God.

29 Yea, we see that whosoever will may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked—

30 And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers, to go no more out."
