Subject: A Ton of Change // Salud Nahuizalco 🥲
Happy mondayyyy everybodyyy...
Man this week was nuts... I thought I was 100% staying in Nahuizalco with my hijo Elder Raxá to finish his training, but Tuesday we got news I was leaving...
☀️ Nahuizalco ☀️
Man it was so hard to leave Nahuizalco, I love that place. I spent about 5 months there and I will never forget all the good times we had and how much I was able to grow there. We were able to see a lot of success and at the same time plant a lot seeds, it was such a beautiful area with so many great people. The farewell visits with the recent converts and members were really sad but also super spiritual. Saying goodbye was really hard, but it was super beautiful to see how we were able to bring the gospel to a lot of people's lives.
The Changes: I got sent to this place called Ausoles to be zone leader with my new comp Elder King, the first english-speaking comp I've ever had in the mission field!! After going from a Peruvian to a Dominican to a Guatemalan to a Ecuadorian to a Guatemalan again, the streak has finally ended 🥲 it's also the first time I've left the Zona Juayua, I had spent my whole mission in that same zone and I never thought I'd leave but it finally happened 😂.
I'm in a 4-elder house now just like my last one, but this time instead of being the elder with the most time on the mission I'm now the youngest which has been a weird switchup haha. I didnt realize how insanely hot Nahuizalco was until I left it, cuz everyone says theyre dying in the heat here in my new area, but compared to Nahuizalco it feels like heaven haha. The area's pretty small, unlike all the other areas I've been in, so its definitely gonna take some getting used to but theres plenty of potential and a lot of good members.
As far as the work goes in my new area Ausoles, we set a baptismal date with our friend Cristian that got found at the beginning of this week and he showed up to church for the first time yesterday so that was lit. We almost dont have anyone in teaching
Promise i'll start writing more interesting emails, dont really got time today cuz we're spending most of our p-day planning for zone council tomorrow and some other meetings so thats fun haha 🥲...
Love you all hope everyones doing awesome
